I just created the music set up for the amazing interactive installation "Flow" by Maotik. It is showing for the Connect the Dots festival in Sheffield until this saturday 19th. The project consists on different synth patches receiving control information from a Max Msp patch. It turns this into musical interpretations of different weather states. Every element is independent, meaning for example that rain will sound different depending on the temperature or wind speed. Given the nature of the sources, the sound palette is quite wide.
The song itself is nspired by Plato's allegory of the cave as well as Paul Bowles literature. I thought that Morgan would be the perfect director for this video, I hope you like it as much as I do.
I will play my first show with Pris Wayland presenting the album Elegiac at Gaite Lyrique. Join us this thursday 17th dec. 20h. Tickets
Another track of my upcoming album is up for listening. https://soundcloud.com/thump/cubenx-drizzling-lemon-pearls-feat-cyane
